Center Court (World, 4 Players, prototype, MC-8123B) is a rare 1988 arcade tennis game by Sega. It is an early developmental version of the title that would eventually be released as Passing Shot. Unlike the standard final release, this specific board dump features four-player support and runs on the MC-8123B processor module. Players travel the globe to compete in international matches across different court surfaces.
How to Play
The objective is to win sets by outmanoeuvring your opponents in standard lawn tennis. Use the joystick to move your player and position yourself for the ball, and use the action buttons to serve, hit standard shots, or execute lobs and smashes. Timing and positioning are key to placing the ball out of the opponent’s reach.
