Game description:

Developed by Mitchell Corporation in 1996, Cannon Dancer Japan (also known as Osman) is a fast-paced action-platformer for the Arcade. Directed by Kouichi Yotsui, the creator of Strider, it serves as a spiritual successor with its incredibly fluid combat, vibrant cyberpunk aesthetic, and Middle Eastern motifs. You play as Kirin, a highly skilled martial artist navigating dynamic futuristic stages, performing acrobatic maneuvers, and dismantling enemies with rapid close-quarters combat.

How to play

Your objective is to traverse each stage, defeat waves of enemies, and take down challenging bosses. Arcade controls in the browser typically use the arrow keys for movement, Shift to insert a coin, and Enter to start. Action buttons are usually mapped to Z, X, and C for Kirin's attacks, acrobatic jumps, and limited-use screen-clearing special moves. Master Kirin's slides, wall-jumps, and combination attacks to survive.

Tips

Take advantage of Kirin's agility; his sliding attack is incredibly useful for dodging enemy projectiles while simultaneously closing the distance. Do not hoard your special attacks for too long, as they are essential for crowd control when you get overwhelmed or when dealing with difficult boss patterns.
