Game description:

Bullet is an overhead run-and-gun arcade shooter released by Sega in 1987. Originally designed for the Sega System 16B hardware as a three-player twin-stick shooter, players take on the roles of resistance fighters battling against invading alien forces. The game stands out for its unique weapon system, where players must stand on designated charging stations to upgrade their firepower, which then steadily depletes as they shoot.

How to Play

In your browser, standard arcade controls apply. Press Shift (or 5) to insert a coin and Enter (or 1) to start. Use the Arrow keys to move your character. As a game originally built for twin joysticks, use the action buttons (Z, X, C) to fire your weapons in different directions. You may need to explore the emulator’s control settings to map the second joystick comfortably for 360-degree shooting.

Tips

  • Manage your charge: Your weapon power drains over time as you fire. Frequently return to charging stations to keep your firepower maximized.
  • Keep moving: Like many twin-stick shooters, getting swarmed is your biggest threat. Always maintain a clear escape route while firing backward at pursuers.
