Game description:

Released in 1998 by Tuning Electronic, Bubble 2000 is an arcade puzzle game that closely follows the formula of classic bubble-matching titles. It challenges players to clear screens of colored bubbles while introducing unexpected adult-themed visual rewards between stages. The straightforward mechanics and distinctive art assets made it an unusual find in late-nineties arcades.

How to Play

Aim and shoot colored bubbles to create groups of three or more of the same color, causing them to pop and clear from the screen. You must clear all bubbles before they descend too far to complete the level. For arcade games, default web emulator controls use the Arrow keys for directional aiming, the Z or X key to shoot, and Enter to start.

Tips

  • Bounce shots off the side walls to reach tricky spots and slip bubbles into tight clusters.
  • Focus on popping bubbles near the top of large hanging groups, as disconnecting them will cause all bubbles attached below to drop and clear instantly.
