Breakers Revenge is a fast-paced 2D fighting game developed by Visco Corporation and released for arcade systems in 1998. Serving as an upgraded version of the original 1996 title Breakers, it refines the game’s balance, tweaks character artwork, and introduces a brand-new playable character, the ninja Saizo. Known for its fluid animation and responsive combo system, it remains a cult classic among fighting game fans.
How to Play
The objective is to defeat your opponent in 1-on-1 martial arts combat by depleting their health bar. As an arcade title, press Shift or Enter to insert coins and start. Move your character using the Arrow keys, and perform light and hard punches and kicks using Z, X, A, and S. Winning two rounds secures the match.
Tips
The combo system in Breakers Revenge is highly flexible, allowing you to link many standard attacks into special moves easily. Pay attention to your super meter at the bottom of the screen; once it fills, you can unleash devastating super attacks to turn the tide of a match. Additionally, if you and your opponent use similar strength attacks at the exact same time, they will clash without dealing damage to either player.
