Boxy Boy is a classic puzzle arcade game released by Namco in 1990. Originally known as Sokoban Deluxe in Japan, this brain-teasing game drops you into a warehouse where you must figure out the correct sequence to push boxes into their designated spots without getting them stuck. With 55 challenging levels and a strict time limit, it tests both your spatial logic and your speed.
How to Play
Your objective is to push every box onto a target spot to clear the level. You can only push one box at a time, and you cannot pull them, so be careful not to trap a box in a corner. Use the D-pad or Arrow Keys to move your character. Press A or B (Z or X) to use the reverse feature to undo your last few moves if you make a mistake. Press Start (Enter) to begin.
Tips
- Plan ahead: Don’t just push the first box you see. Visualize the path for each box before making your first move.
- Avoid corners: If a box touches a corner and it’s not a target spot, you won’t be able to pull it out, and you will have to restart the level or use the reverse button.
- Use the reverse button: Don’t be afraid to use the undo button to correct a wrong step, saving valuable time.
