🎮 Play Block Carnival Thunder Lightning 2 Online (Arcade)

Block Carnival (also known as Thunder & Lightning 2) is a colourful arcade block-breaker released by Visco in 1992. Playing similarly to classics like Arkanoid, you control a paddle to bounce a ball and destroy formations of blocks. What sets it apart is its lighthearted, cartoonish style—rather than standard bricks, you’ll often find yourself smashing through alien enemies disguised as food items like cakes, hot dogs, and sushi.

How to Play

Your objective is to clear all the blocks or food enemies on the screen without letting the ball drop past your paddle. Catch power-ups that fall from destroyed blocks to gain advantages like multiple balls, a wider paddle, or lasers. The default arcade controls use the arrow keys to move the paddle, and Z or X to launch the ball or use power-ups (along with Enter for Start and Shift for Coin).

Tips

• Keep your eyes on the ball’s trajectory rather than your paddle, and anticipate where it will bounce off the oddly shaped food enemies.
• Prioritize destroying blocks near the bottom of the screen first, as they give you less reaction time if the ball ricochets off them quickly.
