Play this arcade bootleg version of Battle of Atlantis, an underwater scrolling shooter originally released by Comsoft in 1981. Heavily inspired by Scramble, this arcade title puts you in command of a submarine navigating through six treacherous ocean stages. You will need to pilot carefully to avoid deep-sea threats like fast-moving sharks, octopuses, and floating mines while taking out enemy ships dropping depth charges from above.
How to Play
Your objective is to survive all six stages by eliminating enemies and destroying targets. By default, use the Arrow Keys to maneuver your submarine. Press Z to fire your forward laser, and X to drop torpedo-bombs on targets below. Moving your submarine up or down will angle your forward laser, allowing for more precise targeting of enemies in front of you.
Tips
- Focus on destroying the underwater fuel tanks along your path, as they provide valuable bonus points.
- Watch the surface carefully for enemy ships; they will drop depth charges that can easily catch you off guard if you stay too high.
- Use the angling mechanic of your forward laser to safely take out threats like floating mines before they enter your immediate path.
