Battle Circuit (1997) is Capcom’s final side-scrolling beat ’em up for the arcades, presented here in its European Phoenix Edition bootleg version. Players choose from a colorful, eccentric cast of cybernetic bounty huntersโincluding a plant monster and an ostrich-riding youngsterโto fight their way through a quirky sci-fi universe and capture wanted criminals.
How to Play
Fight your way through waves of enemies and defeat the boss at the end of each stage. In your browser, press Shift to insert coins and Enter to start. Use the arrow keys to move, Z to attack, and X to jump.
Tips
- Collect the coins dropped by defeated enemies to purchase new moves, combos, and health upgrades in the shop between stages.
- Pressing Attack and Jump (Z + X) simultaneously performs a crowd-clearing special attack, but it drains a small amount of your health if it connects.
- Each bounty hunter has a unique “Battle Download” buff. Activate it to temporarily boost your team’s stats, which is especially useful during tough boss encounters.
