Batman of the Future: Return of the Joker is a side-scrolling action beat ’em up for the Game Boy Color, based on the animated film of the same name. Players take control of Terry McGinnis, the new Batman, battling through the streets of Gotham to defeat the Jokerz gang and uncover the truth behind the original Joker’s mysterious return. The gameplay focuses on classic hand-to-hand combat, navigating platforming hazards, and taking down bosses at the end of each stage.

How to Play

Your objective is to reach the end of each level while defeating the enemies that stand in your way. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to move, Z to attack (B button), X to jump (A button), and Enter to pause the game (Start). Combine jumping and attacking for flying kicks to safely engage enemies.

Tips

• Use jump kicks: Approaching enemies head-on can be risky. Utilize jump attacks to close the distance safely and knock enemies down.
