Bamse (1993) is a 2D platformer developed by Beam Software for the Game Boy, released exclusively in Sweden. Starring the beloved Swedish comic character “the world’s strongest bear,” the game is actually one of four regional variants of the exact same underlying titleโreleased elsewhere as We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story, Baby T-Rex, and Agro Soar. As Bamse, you run, jump, and throw items through side-scrolling environments, dodging hazards and battling enemies to reach the end of each stage.
How to Play
Your objective is to guide Bamse safely to the end of each level while avoiding enemy contact and environmental hazards. You can collect rocks and gems scattered throughout the stages to use as throwing weapons against enemies.
