Developed by Wolf Team and released for the Sega Genesis in 1991, the Japanese version of Arcus Odyssey is a challenging isometric action-RPG. Originally a Sharp X68000 title, this cooperative hack-and-slash adventure lets you choose from four distinct heroes to navigate monster-filled dungeons and prevent the dark sorceress Castomira from awakening.
How to Play
Battle through labyrinthine levels by destroying enemy spawners and collecting items to upgrade your magic abilities. For the default Sega Genesis web emulator controls, use the Arrow keys for the D-pad to move, Enter for Start, and A/S/D or Z/X/C for the A/B/C action buttons to attack and cast spells.
Tips
- Standing still while attacking allows your character to automatically deflect most incoming enemy projectiles.
- Each hero levels up their magic independently; experiment with different elemental spells to find what best suits your playstyle.
- The game supports two-player co-op, which makes managing large swarms of enemies much easier.
