Game description:

Released in 1988 for the NES by Thinking Rabbit, 8 Eyes is a challenging action-platformer set in a post-apocalyptic future. Heavily inspired by the gameplay of Castlevania, players control Orin the Falconer and his loyal fighting bird, Cutrus, as they explore eight distinct castles to reclaim mystical gems from powerful dukes.

Your objective is to defeat the boss of each castle, which can be tackled in any order. Orin fights with a sword and sub-weapons, while Cutrus can be directed to dive-bomb enemies or hit switches. In the browser, use the arrow keys to move, Z to jump, X to attack, and Enter for Start. While Orin commands the bird in single-player, a second player can take direct control of Cutrus for cooperative play.

Finding the optimal castle order is crucial, as each boss is weak to a specific weapon obtained from another. Rely heavily on Cutrus to safely dispatch hard-to-reach enemies and hit inaccessible switches without risking Orin's health.
