600 is a maze-chase game released for arcades by Konami in 1981 (model GX353). It’s the original version of a title most players know only by its export names — Stern Electronics relicensed and renamed it Turtles for release in North America and Europe, while Sega published its own version in Japan as Turpin. In 600, you guide a mother turtle around a maze-like building, rescuing her wandering babies and steering them home while a pack of patrol cars roams the halls; in the later Western release those cars were redrawn as beetles.
How to Play
Baby turtles wander out into the maze from question-mark panels; walk over one to have it fall in behind your mother turtle, then lead it into the house that appears somewhere on the floor to bring it home safely. The patrolling cars end your run if they catch you, so drop a bomb to stun them and clear your escape when they close in. In the browser: move with the Arrow keys, drop a bomb with Z, insert a coin with Shift, and press Enter to start.
