Game description:

Hikari Shinwa: Palthena no Kagami is the original Japanese version of the classic action-platformer known internationally as Kid Icarus. Developed for the Famicom Disk System, the game follows the angel Pit as he journeys through the Underworld, Overworld, and Skyworld to rescue the goddess Palutena from the evil Medusa.

How to Play

Guide Pit through vertically and horizontally scrolling levels, defeating enemies with your bow and collecting hearts to purchase upgrades. The NES controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow Keys to move, Z for the A button (jump), X for the B button (shoot), and Enter to pause or start.

Tips

Collect as many hearts as possible by defeating enemies, as they are essential for buying upgrades in shops.
Take your time in the vertical scrolling stages; if you fall off the bottom of the screen, you will lose a life.
