WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game is a fast-paced fighting game released by Midway and Acclaim for the Sega Genesis in 1995. Rather than a traditional wrestling simulation, it plays much more like a digitized, over-the-top combat game in the vein of Mortal Kombat. Featuring a roster of eight iconic WWF superstars, the action relies on frantic combos, juggling, and absurd special moves instead of realistic grappling.
How to play
The objective is to defeat opponents in a series of matches to claim either the Intercontinental or WWF Championship. The D-pad handles movement and jumping, while the face buttons execute a mix of punches, kicks, and grapple attempts. Stringing together rapid attacks will trigger multi-hit combos, and successfully pinning or depleting the opponent’s health bar secures the round.

Tips
- Do not play it like a normal wrestling game; aggressively juggling your opponent in the corner is often the key to winning, especially in handicap matches.
- When trapped in a grapple, rapidly mash the attack buttons to overpower the opponent and reverse the hold before they can execute a throw.
