Game description:

Playable Toad in Mario Party 3 is a fan-made modification for the Nintendo 64 classic that finally lets you hit the boards as the Mushroom Kingdom’s iconic host. While Toad traditionally spends the game handing out stars and running the item shops, this patch swaps him into the active roster with fully functioning models and animations, letting you compete against Mario and the gang.

How to Play

The objective remains the same as the base game: roll dice to navigate the boards, win minigames to earn coins, and collect more Stars than your opponents before the turns run out. The default browser controls for the Nintendo 64 map the analog stick to your arrow keys, the A and B buttons to X and C, and Start to Enter. The Z trigger is mapped to Z, and the C-buttons use I, J, K, and L.

Tips

Because the core gameplay is untouched from Mario Party 3, items remain incredibly powerful. Prioritize buying Reverse Mushrooms to hit Star spaces twice or dodge opponents’ traps. Always check your rivals’ coin counts before passing a Boo, as stealing a Star is often worth the hefty fee if you can afford it.
