Game description:

All-Star Baseball 2001 is a classic sports simulation released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. It delivers an authentic baseball experience with a full MLB license of the era, featuring real teams, stadiums, and rosters. Known for its signature batting cursor mechanics and deep franchise mode, it stands out as one of the premier baseball titles on the N64.

How to Play

The game focuses on realistic pitching and batting mechanics. Use the analog stick (mapped to Arrow keys) to aim your batting cursor or position your pitches. The action buttons (Z, X, A, S, Q, and W) are used for swinging, selecting pitch types, and throwing to different bases while fielding. Press Enter to start the game or pause the action.

Tips

When batting, try to anticipate the pitch location and move your cursor early rather than reacting after the throw, as making solid contact requires precision. On the mound, mix fastballs with breaking pitches just outside the strike zone to trick the opposing batters into swinging at bad pitches.
