Game description:

Time Diver: Eon Man is an unreleased side-scrolling action platformer for the NES, developed by A.I. and originally slated for a 1993 release by Taito. You play as Dan, a man equipped with a wrist-mounted laser and the ability to travel through time, on a mission to stop a criminal organization from rewriting history. The game features fast-paced platforming and combat heavily inspired by classics like Ninja Gaiden and Strider.

How to Play

Navigate the time-traveling stages, defeating enemies and collecting power-ups that enhance your wrist weapon or grant new abilities. Using the standard browser mapping for NES, press the Arrow keys for movement, Z and X for the A and B action buttons (jumping and attacking), Enter for Start, and Shift for Select.

Tips

  • Your basic attack has a short range, so time your strikes carefully when approaching enemies.
  • Pick up weapon icons to upgrade your wrist attack; these power-ups are essential for dealing with tougher bosses.
  • Make use of Dan’s agility to dodge incoming projectiles, as your health can deplete quickly from consecutive hits.
