Game description:

Might and Magic is a classic first-person role-playing game where players assemble a party of six adventurers to explore the vast and perilous world of VARN. Originally helping to define the dungeon-crawling genre, this epic quest features deep character customization, turn-based combat, and a massive open world filled with towns, castles, and treacherous dungeons.

How to play

Your goal is to uncover the mystery of the Inner Sanctum while surviving encounters with deadly monsters. For the NES, navigate the world and menus using the D-pad. Use the A button to confirm actions or attack, the B button to cancel or exit menus, and Start to pause or bring up the party screen. In the browser, the D-pad is mapped to the arrow keys, A/B to Z/X, and Start to the Enter key.

Tips

  • Create a balanced party with dedicated frontline fighters and magic users to survive early encounters.
  • Map your progress carefully! The dungeons are complex and filled with traps, so keeping track of your location is essential.
  • Save frequently, as party wipes can happen suddenly against tough enemies.
