Krusty's Super Fun House is a puzzle-platformer released for the SNES in 1992. Rather than a traditional action game, you control Krusty the Clown as he attempts to rid his Fun House of a massive rat infestation. To do this, you must strategically place blocks and use items to guide the mindless rats through elaborate, maze-like levels towards extermination traps operated by familiar Simpsons characters like Bart and Homer.
How to Play
Your objective is to guide a specific number of rats into the extermination machines in each room. The rats march blindly forward and turn around when they hit obstacles, similar to Lemmings. You must clear paths, build bridges with blocks, and defeat enemies to create a safe route. For the SNES in your browser, use the Arrow Keys to move Krusty, Z to jump, and A or X to pick up, throw, or kick blocks. Press Enter to pause or start the game.
Tips
- Rats always turn around when they hit a solid wall. You can use blocks not just to build stairs, but to wall off dangerous paths and trap the rats safely until you are ready.
- You can pick up and carry blocks to re-use them in different parts of the level. Don't leave them behind if you might need them later.
- Take your time to survey the level layout. A single misplaced block or destroyed path can make a puzzle unsolvable, forcing you to restart the room.
