Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes is a massive, ambitious fan-made ROM hack of the Super Nintendo classic Chrono Trigger. Set five years after the events of the original game, it bridges the narrative gap between Chrono Trigger and its sequel, Chrono Cross. The game features an entirely original storyline, new dungeons, and custom boss encounters, reuniting Crono, Marle, Lucca, and the rest of the cast to face a new temporal crisis.

How to Play

The core objective remains the same as the original RPG: explore the world across different eras, engage in turn-based combat using the Active Time Battle (ATB) system, and manage your party’s skills and equipment. The default SNES controls in the browser map the D-pad to the arrow keys, A/B/X/Y to X/Z/S/A, L/R to Q/W, and Start/Select to Enter/Shift.
