Space Position is a futuristic top-down arcade racing game developed by Nasco and published by Sega in 1986. Set in a sci-fi city, players must speed through seven stages before fuel and time run out. Starting from the second stage, the screen splits as you race directly against enemy vehicles while dodging obstacles and managing your limited fuel supply.
How to Play
Navigate the tracks using the directional controls (mapped to the arrow keys). Use the action buttons (typically Z and X) to accelerate and jump over hazards. Pushing up or down allows your car to perform a wheelie.
Tips
- Keep an eye out for specific green zones on the track; performing a wheelie here allows you to catch an orange car and transform into the invincible “Super Barrier Car”.
- Fuel management is critical. Avoid unnecessary collisions that slow you down and burn extra fuel, as running out will immediately end your run.
