Game description:

Gigas is a classic ball-and-paddle brick-breaking game originally developed by Nihon System and published by Sega in 1986. This unofficial bootleg version replicates the core arcade experience, challenging players to destroy formations of colored blocks across 32 stages. Similar to games like Arkanoid and Breakout, players must keep the ball in play while catching power-ups that enhance their paddle to clear screens more efficiently.

How to Play

The objective is to destroy all the blocks in each stage without letting the ball fall past your paddle. Since this is an arcade port, insert a virtual coin before starting. Use the Left and Right Arrow keys to move your paddle (replicating the original arcade spinner), press Z or X to serve the ball or use power-ups, use Shift to insert a coin, and Enter to Start.

Tips

  • Keep your eyes on the ball rather than the paddle, using your peripheral vision to align your movements.
  • Prioritize catching power-ups that expand your paddle or attach lasers, as they make clearing the remaining blocks significantly easier.
