This is the US arcade release of Donkey Kong 3 (1983), a unique departure from its predecessors that plays as a fixed shooter rather than a platformer. How to play

The objective is to force Donkey Kong to the top of the vines using your bug spray, or survive long enough to eliminate all the insects without letting them steal your flowers. Tips

• Focus your spray on Donkey Kong when he climbs down, but don’t ignore the insects; protecting your flowers is crucial since they provide a large point bonus at the end of the round.
• Look out for the super bug spray attached to the vines. Spraying it will knock it down, granting you temporary rapid-fire shots with a wider range to easily push the ape upward.
