Princess Rescue is an action-platformer published for the Atari 2600 by AtariAge in 2013. One of the more technically accomplished homebrew releases on the vintage hardware, it delivers classic run-and-jump play: ledges, enemies, hazards, and a princess at the journey’s end.
How to Play
Work through each level, staying on the platforms and avoiding enemies, until you reach the goal. Push up on the joystick to jump — arrow keys in the browser — and Spacebar as the fire button. Timing your jumps over gaps and past enemies is the central challenge.
