Developed for the Sega Genesis in 1993, OutRun 2019 takes the classic arcade racing formula into a futuristic setting. Players pilot a rocket-propelled car capable of reaching speeds over 600 km/h across a series of branching global routes. How to play
Your objective is to race through each stage and reach the checkpoint before the timer runs out. At the end of most sections, the road forks, allowing you to choose your next environment. Steer with the Arrow Keys. Press X (B button) to accelerate, Z (C button) to brake, and S (A button) to shift gears if you chose manual transmission. Press Enter to start or pause.
Tips
Hitting your car’s top speed quickly is essential for beating the strict time limits, but knowing when to slow down is just as important.
