Zool – Ninja of the Nth Dimension is a fast-paced platformer brought to the SNES in 1993 by Gremlin Graphics. Originally created to rival Sonic the Hedgehog, you control a gremlin ninja from the Nth Dimension who crash-lands on Earth. The game features incredibly fast movement, vibrant worlds (including an iconic Chupa Chups sweet-themed opening stage), and frantic gameplay as you wall-jump, spin-attack, and shoot your way through diverse levels.
How to Play
Your goal is to collect a set quota of items in each stage before reaching the exit, all within the time limit. The standard SNES controls apply in your browser: use the Arrow Keys to move and crouch. Z, X, A, and S map to the SNES face buttons (A, B, X, Y) for jumping and attacking. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.
Tips
- Zool can climb walls and grab onto ceilings; use this to find hidden areas and collect items out of normal reach.
- Keep moving! You only have a limited amount of time to reach the item quota and find the exit for each stage.
- Holding the attack button lets you fire projectiles, while jumping and pressing attack executes a spinning mid-air strike.
