🎮 Play Xmas Lemmings Online (DOS)

Xmas Lemmings is a holiday-themed puzzle game developed by DMA Design and published by Psygnosis for DOS in 1991. Released as a festive promotional follow-up to the original classic, it features snow-covered landscapes and lemmings dressed in miniature Santa suits. The core gameplay remains the same: you must safely guide a set number of the endlessly walking creatures to the level exit by assigning them specific jobs to overcome hazards.

How to play

The objective is to save a required percentage of lemmings from traps, water, and cliffs before the timer runs out. The game is entirely controlled with the mouse. Click on a skill in the bottom toolbar—such as digging, building stairs, blocking, or floating—and then click on an individual lemming to assign it that task. You only have a limited number of each skill per level, so manage them carefully.

Tips

You can pause the game to survey the level and plan your assignments without losing precious time.

To keep the crowd safe while building a path, assign a Blocker near the start. You can later free the trapped lemmings by using a Bomber or having a Miner dig underneath them.
