Wrecking Crew is a classic action-puzzle game released by Nintendo for the NES in 1985. How to Play
Your objective is to destroy all breakable objects in a stage to advance. Since you cannot jump, you must carefully plan your route so you do not accidentally destroy a ladder you still need. Use the Arrow Keys to move Mario up and down ladders or across platforms, and press Z or X (mapped to the NES A and B buttons) to swing your hammer.
Tips
- Plan your demolition route before you start swinging. If you destroy a critical ladder or support pillar too early, you may trap yourself and be forced to restart the stage.
- You can drop oil drums on top of enemies to temporarily trap them, making it much safer to clear out adjacent walls.
- Keep an eye on the background doors; opening them will temporarily lure enemies to the background, allowing you to pass safely.
