Game description:

World Soccer (Japan) is a classic 16-bit sports title for the Super Nintendo (SNES), originally released in Western regions as Champions World Class Soccer. This retro soccer game offers fast-paced, arcade-style gameplay where you can take to the pitch and compete in international matches.

How to Play

Your objective is to outscore the opposing team before the clock runs out. Control your players using the D-pad to move around the field. Use the A and B buttons for passing and shooting while on offense, or for slide tackling and switching your active player on defense. In your browser, these SNES controls map to the arrow keys for movement, Z and X for your main actions, and Enter to pause or start the game.

Tips

  • Focus on quick, short passes to weave around defenders rather than trying to dribble across the entire pitch.
  • Time your tackles carefully. Committing to a slide tackle and missing will leave your defense wide open to a counterattack.
