Developed by ADK and SNK in 1992, World Heroes is a classic 2D fighting game for the SNES that pits famous historical figures from different eras against one another. You can choose from legendary warriors like Hanzo Hattori, Joan of Arc, and Rasputin to battle across time and determine who is the strongest fighter in history.

How to Play

The goal is to deplete your opponent’s health bar using standard strikes, throws, and special moves. Beyond the traditional tournament mode, you can also select the unique Death Match mode, where arenas are surrounded by dangerous environmental hazards like spikes and electric ropes. For the SNES controls in your browser, move your character or block with the arrow keys. Use Z, X, A, and S for your attacks. Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.

Tips

In Death Match mode, positioning is just as important as your attacks. Knocking or throwing your opponent into the hazards deals significant extra damage.
Focus on learning one character’s special moves first. Mastering the range and timing of a single fighter’s anti-air and projectile attacks is better than mashing buttons.
