Game description:

Wily & Light no Rockboard: That’s Paradise is a digital board game developed by Capcom in 1993, originally released exclusively for the Famicom in Japan. Now fully playable in English thanks to this fan translation, this unique Mega Man spin-off swaps action-platforming for property management. Players choose from familiar characters like Dr. Light, Dr. Wily, Roll, and Dr. Cossack to compete on various themed boards. The gameplay closely resembles Monopoly or Itadaki Street, where the goal is to buy up spaces, invest in their development, and bankrupt your opponents by charging them rent when they land on your properties.

How to Play

Your objective is to accumulate the most wealth and drive the other players into bankruptcy. You take turns rolling to move around the board, purchasing unowned properties you land on. Owning adjacent properties or investing in upgrades increases the rent you can charge. The default NES controls in the browser are the arrow keys to navigate menus, Z to confirm selections or roll, X to cancel, and Enter to pause or access in-game options.

Tips

Focus on securing properties that are clustered together, as controlling connected spaces significantly boosts the rent you can collect from opponents. Make strategic use of special spaces and item cards; cards can dramatically turn the tide of the game by altering property values, forcing sales, or stealing funds from your rivals.
