Developed by Midway in 1990 for the NES, Trog is a fast-paced isometric action maze game where you control a small dinosaur racing to collect all the colored eggs on each island before the hungry, one-eyed cavemenโthe Trogsโcan catch you. Once all eggs are collected, you make a dash for the exit map. Along the way, you can grab power-ups like the red flower to speed up or the pineapple, which temporarily transforms your dinosaur into a massive, Trog-chomping T-Rex.
How to Play
Your goal is to collect all of your dinosaur’s colored eggs scattered across the grid and then reach the “HOME” exit before losing your lives to the Trogs. You can punch enemies to stun them or knock them into hazards.

Tips
- Punching not only pushes a Trog away but can also knock them straight off the edge of the island into the water.
- Save the pineapple power-up for when you are cornered, as turning into a T-Rex is your most reliable way to clear a crowded screen.
- As soon as the last egg is collected, prioritize making a beeline for the exit; sticking around is too risky once the objective is complete.
