Toobin’ is an action arcade game released for DOS by Atari Games and Tengen in 1988. You play as Biff or Jet, riding innertubes down increasingly treacherous rivers. The goal is to reach the end of each stage while avoiding obstacles like crocodiles, branches, and fishermen, scoring points along the way.
How to play
You must carefully steer your innertube to navigate the river’s currents and avoid popping it on hazards. Paddling moves you forward, backward, or spins you around, and you can throw empty cans at enemies to clear a path. The game can be played solo or in a two-player mode, where you can both race down the river at the same time.
Tips
Stay near the center of the river when possible, as the banks often hide fast-moving enemies and sudden obstacles. Collect the patches you find floating in the water; you will need them to repair your innertube when you inevitably take damage.
