Game description:

Titus the Fox: To Marrakech and Back is a side-scrolling platformer developed and published by Titus France for DOS in 1992. Originally released in France featuring comedian Lagaf’, the game was rebranded internationally to star the company’s fox mascot. As Titus, you must rescue your kidnapped foxy girlfriend, Suzy, by traveling from Paris to Marrakech. The game is known for its high difficulty, requiring precise jumps, careful object management, and puzzle-solving across its sprawling, trap-filled levels.

How to Play

You progress through levels by walking, jumping, and ducking to avoid enemies such as dogs, builders, and giant bees. A core mechanic is your ability to pick up nearly any loose objectโ€”like crates, glass bottles, and anvilsโ€”and carry them to throw at enemies or stack them to reach higher platforms. The game uses the standard DOS keyboard controls; use the arrow keys to move and aim throws, and the Spacebar to jump and interact with objects.

Tips

Always carry an object with you whenever possible, as you cannot defeat enemies with jumps alone. Be extremely careful when scrolling the screen downward, as fall damage and hidden traps are common; try to peek below by ducking before dropping into new areas. Watch out for hidden walls that you can walk through to find extra lives and health-restoring items.
