Developed by Infogrames and released for the SNES in 1995, Tintin in Tibet is a notoriously challenging action-platformer. Based on the classic comic book adventure, you guide the young reporter and his faithful dog Snowy from a perilous train journey up into the freezing peaks of the Himalayas to rescue his friend Chang. While praised for its detailed artwork that faithfully captures Hergรฉ’s style, the game is infamous for its strict time limits and demanding, pixel-perfect jumping sections.
How to play
Your goal is to reach the end of each stage before the timer runs out, avoiding environmental hazards, aggressive wildlife, and treacherous drops. Manage your limited health and be prepared for unforgiving platforming segments.

Tips
- Watch your momentum: Tintin’s movement carries weight. Don’t sprint near edges unless you absolutely need the speed to clear a large gap.
- Memorize the layouts: The strict time limits mean you cannot afford to explore aimlessly. Learn the safe paths and enemy patterns through trial and error.
