Tanigawa Kouji no Shougi Shinan 3 is a Japanese shogi game released for the NES (Famicom). Serving as the third entry in the instructional series endorsed by professional shogi player Koji Tanigawa, the game allows players to experience traditional Japanese chess on the classic 8-bit console.
How to Play
The goal is to capture the opponent’s king following the standard rules of shogi. Since this is an NES title, you can play in your browser using the default controls: the directional arrows move your cursor across the board, Z (the A button) selects and places a piece, and X (the B button) cancels a selection. Use Enter (Start) to access the menu.
