Takeda Shingen is a turn-based war strategy simulation game developed by Another and released for the NES in 1988. Based on the historical campaigns of the famous daimyo, players are challenged to manage resources, recruit armies, and conquer rival territories. Unlike its sequel, Shingen the Ruler, this original title was never released outside of Japan.
How to Play
As a Japanese-exclusive strategy game, the menus remain in their original language, which may require some trial and error to navigate. Use the Arrow keys to move your cursor across the map and through the various command menus. Press Z (A button) to confirm selections, X (B button) to cancel or back out of menus, Enter to Start, and Shift for Select.
