Game description:

Super Shougi 2 is a traditional shogi game released in Japan for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994. As a virtual adaptation of Japanese chess, it allows players to experience the classic board game directly on your console.

How to Play

The objective of shogi is to capture the opponent’s king by strategically moving your pieces across the 9×9 board. Navigate the game’s menus and move your pieces using the D-pad, confirm selections with the A button, and cancel with the B button. When playing in your browser, the SNES D-pad is mapped to the arrow keys, A to the Z key, B to the X key, and Start to the Enter key.
