Super Pang (released in North America as Super Buster Bros.) is a classic arcade action-puzzle game released for the Super Nintendo in 1992. Developed by Mitchell Corporation and published by Capcom, the game tasks players with traveling the globe to clear screens of bouncing balloons. Using a harpoon gun, you must carefully pop each bubble until the area is completely clear, avoiding any direct contact with the bouncing hazards.
How to Play
Your goal is to destroy all bouncing balloons on the screen without getting hit. When you pop a large balloon, it splits into two smaller, faster ones, which keep dividing until the smallest size is finally eliminated.
Use the Arrow Keys to move your character left and right, and press Z or X to fire your harpoons upwards. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Tips
- Control the chaos: Avoid popping every large balloon immediately. A screen filled with tiny, fast-moving bubbles is much harder to survive than one with a few slow, large ones.
- Set traps: Your regular harpoon stays attached to the ceiling for a brief moment. You can use this to your advantage by placing wires for balloons to bounce into.
- Watch for power-ups: Keep an eye out for helpful drops like the double-wire, the grapple hook, and the clock that temporarily freezes all balloons.
