Super Double Dragon is a side-scrolling beat ’em up released for the SNES in 1992 by Technos. You control martial artists Billy or Jimmy Lee fighting through the Shadow Warriors syndicate across various city stages. The game slows down the pace compared to earlier entries in the series, focusing heavily on a new blocking and countering system that gives combat a more tactical feel.
How to play
Clear each area of enemies and defeat the boss at the end of the stage to progress. Combat relies on combining punches, kicks, and throws, as well as managing a Dragon Power gauge that unleashes stronger attacks when charged.

Tips
- Mastering the block mechanic is essential; timing a block just as an enemy strikes allows you to catch their arm and follow up with a counter-throw.
- Let your Dragon Power gauge fill completely to execute a spinning cyclone attack, which is invaluable for clearing space when you are surrounded by enemies.
