Super Captain Falcon 64 is a 2020 Nintendo 64 ROM hack of Super Mario 64 developed by Blakeoramo and Pasta Power. This modification replaces Mario with F-Zero‘s iconic racer, Captain Falcon, introducing a completely custom moveset that transforms how you navigate the classic 120-star adventure.
The objective remains collecting Power Stars, but your approach is much more aggressive. Captain Falcon can sprint at high speeds after running for a few seconds, making platforming fast and fluid. For standard browser controls, use the Arrow keys to move, X and Z for the A and B buttons (jumping and attacking), Enter to Start, and the Shift key for the Z-trigger.
Your signature move, the Falcon Punch, is incredibly powerful and can destroy enemies, objects, and even doors. While you can bypass star-requirement doors using the punch, be careful not to destroy essential items or bosses, as this can soft-lock your progress. Additionally, the Knee of Justice replaces the standard air kick for devastating aerial attacks.
