Released as an unofficial NES bootleg, Super Bros. 10: Kung Fu Mari is a hack of the classic action-platformer Jackie Chan’s Action Kung Fu that replaces the main protagonist with Mario. The game retains the original’s fast-paced martial arts combat and vibrant levels, offering a bizarre but surprisingly competent adventure where the famous plumber punches and kicks his way through various stages.
How to Play
Navigate the levels and defeat enemies using martial arts attacks to reach the end of each stage. Use the D-pad to move, A to jump, and B to attack. In your browser, these NES controls map to the arrow keys for movement, Z and X for A and B, and Enter/Shift for Start/Select.
Tips
- Hold down the attack button to charge up a special projectile move, which is highly effective against bosses.
- Defeat the frogs found throughout the levels to collect items that grant powerful, limited-use special attacks.
