Released by Artworx Software in 1995, Strip Poker Professional brings classic adult card gameplay to DOS. In this single-player title, you face off in traditional 5-card draw poker against digitized opponents, building your bankroll while attempting to deplete theirs.
How to Play
The objective is to win hands, forcing your opponent to bet their chips and eventually their clothing as their bankroll runs out. You are dealt five cards and must choose which to hold and which to discard to form the strongest possible hand. The game is controlled using standard MS-DOS keys; use your keyboard to navigate the interface, select cards, and make your betting decisions. Press ‘Right Alt’ + ‘Enter’ to toggle full-screen mode.
Tips
Patience is keyโdon’t hesitate to fold early if your starting hand is weak, as preserving your chips is crucial for outlasting your opponent. Pay attention to how the computer bets; sudden aggressive raises often indicate a strong hand, so you should only match them if you hold a highly competitive combination.
