Space Gun is a first-person sci-fi shooter for the Sega Master System, originally released by Taito in arcades. You play as a heavily armed rescue operative sent into a crippled space station that has been overrun by hostile aliens. Your mission is to exterminate the alien menace while securing the surviving crew.
How to Play
Your objective is to shoot your way through the alien-infested corridors while carefully avoiding the human hostages. On the Master System, use the D-pad (mapped to your keyboard’s arrow keys) to move your crosshair. Use Button 1 (Z) to fire your main weapon and Button 2 (X) to deploy limited special attacks that damage all on-screen enemies. Keep an eye on your ammunition, as it is limited.
Tips
- Spare the hostages: Never shoot the human prisoners. Rescuing them safely provides essential health recovery at the end of the stage.
- Dismember enemies: Aim for the limbs of larger aliens. Blowing off their legs will severely slow them down, making them much easier targets.
