Game description:

Released in 1998 by Iguana Entertainment, South Park brings the irreverent world of the hit animated series to the Nintendo 64 as a chaotic first-person shooter. When a comet approaches Earth, it triggers an invasion of mutant turkeys, alien clones, and other bizarre enemies that threaten the quiet mountain town. You play as the four main boys, navigating 3D environments and using an arsenal of famously ridiculous weapons to save the day. This specific release is the Brazilian version of the classic original title.

How to play

Your goal is to clear each stage of enemies and destroy large tank-like spawning devices before moving to the next area. For the browser-based Nintendo 64 emulator, the analog stick maps to your arrow keys for movement. Use the Z and X keys for your A and B buttons to jump and cycle items, the Spacebar for the Z-trigger to fire your weapon, and Enter to pause the game. The C-buttons (typically mapped to A, S, D, W or nearby keys) control your vertical aim and weapon switching.

Tips

  • Use Alternate Fire: Every weapon has a secondary firing mode. For example, your starting snowballs can be charged into “yellow snow” that deals lingering damage.
  • Backpedal from Swarms: Melee enemies like the early-game turkeys will swarm you quickly. Walk backward while throwing dodgeballs or snowballs to thin them out safely without taking hits.
  • Save Heavy Weapons: Keep the Cow Launcher and Alien Dancing Gizmo for massive groups of enemies or bosses, as their ammo is extremely scarce.
