Soko-Ban is a classic puzzle game brought to the Sega SG-1000 in 1988 by Thinking Rabbit and Spectrum HoloByte. As a warehouse worker, you must push crates into their designated storage locations within a confined maze. Because crates can only be pushed and never pulled, a single wrong move can trap a box against a wall and force a restart, making every step count.
How to play
Your objective is to maneuver all the crates onto the marked storage spots. You use the arrow keys to move around the warehouse and push crates one at a time. Press Enter to start the game, or to reset the current level if you get stuck.
Tips
- Pay special attention to corners and edges; a crate pushed into a corner is permanently stuck.
- Plan your route before making the first move. Avoid pushing crates against walls unless their final target is along that same wall.
