Sky Shark is a 1987 vertical-scrolling shoot ’em up developed by Toaplan and published by Taito for the NES. Piloting a vintage P-40 biplane over enemy-occupied territory, players fight through waves of hostile aircraft, armored tanks, and naval fleets in fast-paced arcade style.
How to Play
Advance through enemy lines while dodging incoming artillery fire and aerial attack formations. Eliminating enemy units and specific aerial squads awards weapon upgrades and defensive supplies to help clear challenging mission sectors.
| Action | Keyboard Control | NES Gamepad |

Tips for Success
- Target Red Aircraft Formations: Destroying entire formations of red enemy planes drops valuable ‘P’ power-ups that expand your main cannon spread.
- Save Megabombs for Heavy Fire: Megabombs instantly clear all enemy projectiles on screen and inflict massive damage on bosses and naval battleships.
- Position Near the Screen Bottom: Stay in the lower third of the screen to give yourself maximum reaction time to spot and dodge fast incoming tracer fire.
