🎮 Play Simpsons, The – Bart vs. the World (Europe) Online (NES)

The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World is a 1991 action-platformer released for the NES, developed by Imagineering. Following up on Bart vs. the Space Mutants, the game takes Bart on a global adventure after he wins a rigged art contest set up by Mr. Burns. You must guide Bart through diverse locations including China, the North Pole, Egypt, and Hollywood, surviving hazards and battling Mr. Burns’s relatives.

How to Play

The objective is to navigate through side-scrolling platforming stages, defeat enemies, and collect Krusty the Clown items hidden in each level. Use the arrow keys to move, the Z key to jump (mapped to the A button), and the X key to attack or use special items (mapped to the B button). Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.

Tips

• Collect the Krusty faces scattered in the levels; grabbing enough allows you to play the trivia mini-games for extra lives.
• When using the cape to glide, make sure to jump from the highest point possible, as Bart descends fairly quickly.
• Save your special weapons (like the firecrackers or ice balls) for boss fights against the Burns family, as they deal significantly more damage than your basic attacks.
